They were recorded as part of the Jazz Scene series of radio shows hosted by David Fishel in Norway and Russia (on public and commercial radio stations) from 1992 – 2002.
The radio stations included Norway’s NRK Radio, Radio 1 (Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Stavanger), Radio Nettverk, Radio Maximum (Moscow) and nearly 60 independent stations in Norway.
Jazz Scene is back!!! From 1st May, 2020 the show will be aired on the online, community radio station, Wirral Wave.
Every Friday at 9pm with repeats on Sundays at 3pm and Tuesdays at 10pm. www.wirralwave.co.uk
